Your role What you'll be doing What We Need Corpay is currently looking to hire a Business Development Executive within our r2c Online division. This position falls under our Fuel & Fleet Maintenance line of business and is located in our Sheffield office. In this role, you will be working within a high performing team, as a Business Development Executive, on a permanent, full-time basis. You will be key in growing r2cs commercial presence by bringing in new business partners and by successfully prospecting, selling and on-boarding new clients. How We Work As a Business Development Executive, you will be based in our Sheffield office, with 3-4 days per week in the office and 1-2 day per week in the field. Our business operating hours are Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5.00pm. Corpay will set you up for success by providing: Assigned workspace in office and home office setup Company-issued equipment Formal, hands-on training Role Responsibilities The responsibilities of the role will include: Identify business opportunities by sourcing prospects and evaluating their fleet maintenance needs. Harvest sales channels within the target markets. This activity includes, but is not limited to: Business Networking, Exhibitions, Specific sponsorship events, Telephone solicitation and product demonstrations. Selling the r2c Online platform solutions using a consultative approach and truly understanding client’s needs, presenting solutions based upon their needs and fully explaining our value proposition and online product portfolio. Manage client on-boarding processes while maintaining an exemplary customer experience. Qualifications & Skills Proven Sales and analytical skills for successful business generation. Previous outbound business-to-business phone marketing or sales experience is essential, ideally in the SaaS space. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, plus strong interpersonal skills. Self-motivated and focused, combined with effective organisational and time management skills. Professional demeanour to prospective and current clients coupled with strong listening skills. The ability to work as a team player towards a specific sales goal.
