We’re looking for a Head Chef to join our team at our Boston location.
Key Responsibilities of the Head Chef:
Oversee daily kitchen activities to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation while ensuring operational efficiency.
Support in the creation and update of innovative menus that align with the brand’s vision, ensuring a unique and memorable dining experience.
Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment that emphasises both fun and safety.
Manage inventory levels, negotiate with suppliers, and implement cost-control measures to optimise food costs without compromising quality.
Enforce strict food safety protocols and hygiene standards to guarantee a safe kitchen environment and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Oversee scheduling, budgeting, and record-keeping, ensuring smooth administrative operations that support the overall success of the kitchen.
5+ years’ experience within high volume kitchens, with at least 2 years’ experience as a Head Chef.
If you have experience in the below too that would be advantageous:
Worked to exact recipes/ingredients to specifications using both fresh and frozen ingredients.
Worked in large operational environments before.
Led teams of 10+ with a history of developing internal talent pipelines.
