We are recruiting a Workshop Operative on behalf of our client, a specialist company that converts vans into refrigerated vehicles. This is a hands-on role based in a workshop environment and would suit someone with practical carpentry or power tool based experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Converting vans into refrigerated vehicles
* Carrying out carpentry and fitting work within vehicle interiors
* Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
* Following drawings and instructions accurately
* Maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment
Requirements:
* Previous carpentry or workshop experience (essential)
* Experience using hand and power tools
* Good attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Reliable and punctual
What's on Offer:
* Competitive starting pay of £12.50 per hour
* Day shifts only - no evenings or weekends
* Monday to Friday working pattern 0800-1630
* Permanent role after a 12-week probation period
