Salary: Up to: £58,000

The role and what youll be getting up to on a day-to-day basis:
Are you a seasoned infrastructure professional ready to take on complex challenges and help shape the future of IT operations? At Littlefish, were looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our Infrastructure team in Nottingham.
In this role, youll be a key technical expert, working on high-priority tickets, leading the resolution of major incidents, and guiding our approach to new technologies. Youll collaborate with engineers across the business, mentor others, and play a vital role in maintaining and evolving our infrastructure services.
You will be:
Resolving complex or sensitive technical issues
Acting as a technical escalation point and subject matter expert
Supporting major incident investigations and recovery
Leading technical input on change approvals and best practices
Delivering technical projects and onboarding new customers
Identifying and deploying automation opportunities
Reviewing major incident reports and ensuring SLA compliance
Who you are:
Extensive experience in a similar infrastructure role
Strong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, SCCM, networking, and backup technologies
Knowledge of Office 365, Azure, VMware/Hyper-V, and PowerShell
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to mentor others
Relevant certifications (e.g. MCSE, VCP, CCNA) or equivalent experience
Desirable skills:
Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Puppet)
Knowledge of cloud security and SaaS/PaaS integrations
