We are currently recruiting for a Shift Lead to join us at our Severnside Dairy
The purpose of this role is site responsibility for management of incoming raw milk and cream fractions followed by further processing of these to ensure supply to end users (NRC/PLFM/Retail Cream/External Customers) Ensure that all aspects of the operation are technically compliant, engage with all stakeholders and manage legal compliance for internal/external audit purposes.

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (2 days, 2 nights 6-6)
Location: Severnside
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
1. Creating and developing development plans
2. Create succession pathways both up through, and across the organisation
3. High level problem solving capability and facilitation skills
4. Go, look, see issues by visiting the workstations when called upon
5. Coaching front line team members, enabling them to problem solve
6. Enabling team to create and deliver OE opportunities aligned to OGSM
7. Encourage others to seek out improvement opportunities within the workplace and converts to own OE projects
8. Owns and delivers OE initiatives and is recognised for these
9. Drives OE opportunities through team
10. Supports team to demonstrate OE contribution through PDP process
11. Looks and encourages others to find ‘waste’ opportunities in everything that we do
12. People management including delivery of performance review, development and coaching of the team, dealing with any employee relations issues
13. Create purpose and direction around OGSM deliverables
14. Collaboratively work with other teams to improve our business
15. Ensure own activities are aligned to overall business objectives and know how current performance impacts the bottom line
16. Utilises all available opportunities, enabling others to improve the way we do things
Requirements:
17. In depth SCADA knowledge
18. Strong knowledge of OPEX tools/techniques
19. Ability to adapt to the challenges presented by a high paced 24/7 operation
20. Food and Drink Level 3 Advanced Process Operator (desirable)
21. Good knowledge of leading a team
