About the Role:
Are you looking for an opportunity to work with insurance claims for a renown international business?
EG Group are looking for an Group Insurance Claims Administrator to join the insurance team and support the management of insurance claims across the business worldwide. This is a new role within a newly created insurance function, providing the opportunity to be part of building a function from the ground up.
The role will initially sit within the Finance team, reporting directly to the Insurance Manager, with a focus on developing processes, maintaining accurate records and supporting communication between EG Group, insurers and internal stakeholders.
This role will suit someone with attention to detail, strong Excel skills and the ability to handle data processing tasks in a methodical and structured way.
Over time, there is scope for the role to develop as the insurance division grows, although equally this could remain a stable and specialist role for someone who enjoys administrative work in a busy, data-driven environment.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Administering and maintaining internal claims records for all insurance claims across the Group.
2. Developing working spreadsheets, trackers and reporting tools to monitor claims activity and performance.
3. Handling day-to-day communication with insurers, brokers and internal stakeholders, ensuring queries are answered promptly and accurately.
4. Supporting the design and implementation of new systems and processes for claims handling as the function develops.
5. Preparing data packs, summaries and analysis for internal reporting.
6. Working closely with operational teams to collect and record accurate incident and claims information.
7. Supporting the wider finance and risk functions with insurance-related administration and record-keeping.
8. Providing general administrative support for the Group Insurance.

What we’re looking for:
Essential:
9. Strong Microsoft Excel skills - comfortable working with spreadsheets, formulas and data sets.
10. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
11. Good written and verbal communication skills.
12. Comfortable managing repetitive data entry tasks alongside more varied project work.
13. Ability to work independently, managing time and workload effectively.
Desirable:
14. Previous experience in insurance, risk management, claims handling, FNOL or currency-based administration.
15. Experience using systems or claims management tools.
16. Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
