First Military Recruitment is working in partnership with our client to recruit an Occupational Health Advisor or Nurse to join their team in Warton on a permanent basis.
The Occupational Health Nurse or Advisor is an integral part of the team, providing a compassionate, professional clinical service that is instrumental in the quality of care our clients receive.
Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Carry out fitness for work/safety critical medicals
2. Provide health surveillance medicals (audio, spiro, skin & HAVs)
3. Case Management
4. Travel Health Assessments and administer vaccines
5. Provide Minor Treatments and advice.
6. Deliver some wellbeing clinics.
7. Ensure clinical assessment skills are maintained in line with best practice
Skills and Qualifications:
8. Previous Occupational Health experience is preferable.
9. Registered Nurse (Part 1)
10. Experience within A&E
11. Excellent knowledge of occupational health and employment legislation
