Key Responsibilities - Business Development Manager Secure new business across Time Critical, Air Freight, Road, Sea, and Customs offerings Build and develop relationships with clients in industries such as aerospace, automotive, pharmaceutical, and manufacturing Provide expert solutions for OBC (On Board Courier), NFO (Next Flight Out), Charters, Hazardous, Ro-Ro, IMDG, Military, and Project Freight Present tailored proposals and close deals based on urgent or specialist cargo needs Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution and high client satisfaction Represent the company at industry events and networking functions Stay up to date with market trends, compliance changes, and competitor activities Experience & Requirements - Business Development Manager Minimum 2 years' experience in freight forwarding sales Strong background in Time Critical or high-value, urgent logistics is highly desirable Proven track record in new business generation and key account development Excellent commercial awareness, communication, and negotiation skills Knowledge of customs procedures and multimodal freight essential Competent in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to Luton HQ weekly What's On Offer - Business Development Manager Up to £80,000 basic salary depending on experience Uncapped commission structure Company car allowance Laptop and mobile phone Excellent support from internal teams and access to industry-leading infrastructure This position is being recruited exclusively by Right Now Group, a specialist logistics and freight recruitment partner If you're ready to take your freight sales career to the next level in a dynamic, fast-paced environment - apply today.
