About the Role
Our Graham Eyes butchers enhance our SPAR stores by bringing knowledge, skill, and great customer service.
Responsibilities:
* Producing meat for sale, including bone-out carcasses with good cutting standards
* Ensuring all food safety and health and safety regulations are met within the butchery department
* Weighing, packaging, pricing, and displaying products
* Keeping records, budgets, and inventory
* Greeting and speaking to customers, providing advice, answering questions, and accepting orders or payments
* Controlling waste
Candidate Requirements:
* Helpful, friendly, and comfortable working with the public
* Enthusiastic, committed, and self-motivated
* Adopts a ‘can do’ attitude to challenging situations
* Flexible approach to working hours
* Thorough knowledge of HACCPS
* Proven experience in a butchery environment
