Regional Operations Manager
Job Summary: `
CentrePeace Homes Ltd. is seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Operations Manager to oversee our 16+ Supported Accommodation Service and ensure operational excellence across multiple locations in Newport, Gwent and Bristol. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving performance, enhancing operational efficiency, and fostering a positive service environment. SALARY: £ 45,000 - £55,000 per annum - depending on skills and experience
HOURS: Full-time – 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday between 9am and 5.30pmplus paid shared On Call responsibilities
LOCATION: Newport, Wales and Bristol
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: to be able to travel throughout the service area, without reliance on public transport.

Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage Bristol Deputy 16+ Manager to progress to the role of Registered Service Manager.
* Day to Day Management of Newport 16+ Supported Living Service
* Implement and manage operational policies and procedures to optimise performance across the regions.
* Lead, mentor, and develop Supported Accommodation teams to ensure high-quality service delivery.
* Collaborate with senior management to develop strategic goals and initiatives.
* Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
* Ensure compliance with all regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
* Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, service users, and community partners.
* Analyse sector needs and local authority/Government policy to identify opportunities for growth.
Your Skills and Experience
* 2 years+ experience as a manager in the sector is essential.
* Recent experience working either as a Supported Accommodation Manager/Children's Home Manager
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or`` equivalent qualification).
* Level 4 Diploma for Children, Young People and Families Practitioner (or equivalent qualification)
* Operational Knowledge of Ofsted Supported Accommodation Standards and/or CIW
* Full UK Clean Driving Licence.
* Excellent Report Working Skills
* Excellent IT and database management skills
* Relevant training in Safeguarding; Health and Safety
Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in operations management, preferably in Supported Accommodation/Youth and Community Work or Children's Residential Homes
* Proven track record of managing multiple properties or locations.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficient in financial management and reporting.
* Ability to analyse data and make data-driven decisions.
* Familiarity with property management software and tools.
* Willingness to travel as required within the region.
Other Qualifications:
* Certification in property management.
* Degree in Youth and Community Work
* Designated Safe-Guarding Lead/Officer
* Health & Safety Level 2/3
* Experience in customer service and community engagement.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing environments.

CentrePeace Homes (CPH)is a growing company whose diverse staff team are genuinely interested in providing the best outcomes for the young people we support. We currently provide high quality shared and solo Ofsted registered accommodation for young people in care 16+ in England and Wales. CPH currently specialises in providing support for young people who have complex needs which include Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and unaccompanied asylum-seeking children (UASC). The service can support over 20 young people and seeks opportunities to expand within this region.
ABOUT YOU
Working as Operations Manager you will be based in Newport, South Wales and have oversight of CPH 16+ Supported Accommodation Service across in Bristol. You will have a proven track record in leadership and management within Young People's Services and experience in the implementation of Ofsted or CIW regulations – preferably within supported accommodation for 16+/adults or a residential children's home.
You will have high standards and a great eye for detail- ensuring the service accommodations are compliant, well maintained and equipped. You should be able to think on your feet to solve practical problems and lead by example, encouraging your staff team pull together to ensure our homes are of an excellent standard. You will have excellent IT and report writing skills and be able to maintain our current systems on ClearCare/LogMyCare and Excel.
You will have the ability to lead and manage your team ensuring they are well trained, consistent in their approach and working within CPH policies and procedures.
