Job Description
As the Facilities Manager you will be responsible for enhancing and transforming our client, and their sub-tenant workplaces across the Nottingham site.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of FM service delivery and ensure consistent, high-quality performance.
- Plan and manage Moves & Changes, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement.
- Oversee building compliance with health & safety and legislative requirements.
- Line manage the on-site FM team, including rotas, absence, performance management, and appraisals.
- Promote and embed a safety-first culture across all activities.
- Carry out health and safety audits and ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines.
- Anticipate client needs, resolve issues swiftly, and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Monitor client satisfaction, address complaints, and provide service delivery updates regularly.
- Recommend and implement improvements to service delivery in line with workplace strategy.
- Ensure that operational needs align with client objectives and employee experience.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
- IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent).
- Level 2 Food Safety in Catering (or willingness to achieve).
- Serving the Allergic and Food Intolerant Customer (or willingness to achieve).
- Demonstrable experience in a customer-facing Facilities Management environment.
- Proven experience leading teams within FM, projects, or contract delivery.
- Experience delivering services to SLA/KPI standards.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) with influencing and negotiation skills.
- Skilled in relationship building and stakeholder engagement.
- Highly organised with strong time management and workload prioritisation.
