We are currently recruiting 2x Plant Operatives to join our clients team in Corby on aPermanent placement. This is a great opportunity where by the company will be offering full trainingin a anaerobic digestion and wastewater treatment facility.
Responsibilities as aPlant Operative
1. Efficiently process incoming waste materials according to specified guidelines to produce customer feedstock. This includes operating the plant's digestion process through to combined heat and power (CHP) production.
2. Operate and monitor the waste processing plant, utilising the SCADA system to manage batch feeding, preparation, and adjustments.
3. Perform basic maintenance, identify and report faults, and ensure the plant's quality, efficiency, and safety. This includes solids processing according to a schedule.
4. Sample process streams to ensure quality, efficiency, and safety.
5. Adhere strictly to all site Health and Safety Procedures, legislation, planning permissions, permits, and plant manuals. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
6. Accept and facilitate tanker deliveries of waste streams.
7. Work effectively as part of a team.
8. Maintain site cleanliness and company standards, and meet production targets.
