We are looking for a creative, talented, and committed Geography Teacher to join our energetic, supportive team. The role involves creating high‑quality learning experiences that spark students’ curiosity about the world, and may include delivery of the Travel and Tourism curriculum.
About the Department
* Over 80 students are studying Geography at KS5.
* Over 300 students are taking Geography at KS4.
* High levels of achievement and attainment for all students.
* We run field trips to locations such as Iceland, Sicily and the Yorkshire Dales.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging Geography lessons across the KS4‑KS5 age and ability range.
* Develop creative, high‑quality learning experiences that foster curiosity and a love of Geography.
* Secure high standards of engagement, progress and achievement for all students.
* Contribute to and, where suitable, deliver the Travel and Tourism curriculum.
* Make a full contribution to the life of the school and to extra‑curricular activities.
* Keep abreast of the latest developments in learning and teaching.
Candidate Profile
* Highly motivated, enthusiastic and confident teacher.
* Excellent classroom practice and the ability to build enthusiasm for Geography.
* Capability to teach across the age and ability range.
* Commitment to securing high standards for all students.
* Willingness to engage fully in school life and extra‑curricular commitments.
