About the Role
Location: Cedars, 144 London Road, Gloucester, GL2 0RS. The Cedars provides residential support for up to nine people with a learning disability. This is a full‑time, 40‑hour per week role with working days and weekends.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist qualified staff with assessment and implementation of individual care plans.
* Carry out routine tasks and activities to support the wellbeing, dignity and treatment of residents.
* Promote independence and support residents in accessing the community safely.
* Collaborate with the compassionate care team to deliver personalised support.
What You'll Bring
* Resilience and a natural empathy to support residents through highs and lows.
* Leadership skills and experience in leading a staff of support workers.
* Initiative, willingness to learn, and schedule flexibility.
* Experience with challenging behaviours and conducting debriefs.
* NVQ Level 3 (nice to have).
* Strong communication and supportive attitude.
