HGV Technician
on Nightshift in the fantastic team at our DAF Trucks Depot in

in house and manufacturers 22 days holiday (pro-rata), rising to 25 days (pro-rata) after 5 years of service HGV driving licence training after qualifying period Employee Of The Month Competition Employee Assistance Program Career Progression Opportunities Pension Death in Service Life Insurance Scheme Cycle to work scheme Who are we looking for as an HGV Technician : You will have previous experience working as an HGV Technician / Mechanic within the HGV, Commercial Vehicle, LGV, PSV, Heavy Plant, Car or an associated sector. Ideally have a qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. Or a time served HGV Technician. Ability to participate in breakdowns. Skills to follow company processes for completing all paperwork including accurate completion of job cards and service records. General level of computer literacy is advantageous. Full UK driving licence. The HGV Technician role / responsibilities include
(but not limited to) : Servicing and maintaining a wide variety of Trucks and Vehicles. Fault Diagnostics. MOT Preparation. Mechanical and Electrical repairs. Ensure repairs are carried out according to manufacturers procedures and in a safe and responsible manner. Road test vehicle when required, subject to licence restrictions. Attend any technical or development training that is made available. Working alternate weeks: Monday to Thursday / Tuesday to Friday, 7pm
