Key Responsibilities – Specialist Community Mental Health Nurse
* Deliver comprehensive mental health assessments, formulations and evidence‑based interventions for children, young people and their families.
* Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure each individual receives the highest quality, person‑centred care.

Key Responsibilities – Clinical Nurse Specialist (Secondment)
* Provide supervision to members of the nursing team within West Cornwall CAMHS, promoting best practice and professional growth.
* Play an active role in the delivery of evidence‑based interventions for children, young people and families, with a particular focus on risk and crisis management through coordination of the Getting Risk Support care pathway.
* Lead the nursing provision within the Integrated Care Area (ICA), working alongside the Lead Psychologist and fellow Clinical Nurse Specialists to ensure cohesive and effective service delivery.
* Manage a personal caseload from referral through to discharge, undertaking both routine and high‑priority assessments and interventions, and exercising a high degree of clinical autonomy.
* Contribute to multi‑disciplinary team working, service development, and governance activities including research, audit and quality improvement initiatives.
* Provide consultation, advice and liaison to colleagues and external agencies to promote coordinated, high‑quality care.
The primary base for this role will be Bolitho House, Penzance, with regular travel required across West Cornwall and to the secondary base at The Hive, Redruth.
