SEN Teacher Needed - Southend on Sea, Essex Are you a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher looking for your next opportunity in Southend-on-Sea? We are currently recruiting for full-time SEN Teacher roles in a range of supportive and well-resourced special schools across the area. As an SEN Teacher, you will be working with children who have a range of additional needs, including autism, moderate to severe learning difficulties, and social, emotional, or mental health challenges. You’ll play a key role in creating engaging, accessible lessons tailored to individual learning plans, while fostering a safe and inclusive environment where every pupil can thrive. Requirements: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential * Proven experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN) * Strong behaviour management and differentiation skills * A caring, resilient, and adaptable approach Whether you're an experienced SEN Teacher or a mainstream teacher with a solid background in SEN settings, we’d love to hear from you. The pay is from £125 to £163 per day. Teachers working in Special Educational Needs schools will: Plan and deliver differentiated lessons Use a range of communication strategies Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment Monitor, assess, and record pupil progress Work collaboratively Liaise regularly with parents and carers Implement behaviour support plans Participate in whole school training Support the development of life skills Why Should You Work With Us?
