Role OverviewWe are seeking a passionate and dedicated Educational Teaching Assistant to join the team on a long-term basis through Hays Education. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people, particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEN
2. Assist in classroom activities and learning interventions
3. Act as a coach and mentor for a designated student group
4. Support the implementation of individual education plans
5. Foster positive relationships and promote student engagement
6. Collaborate with teaching staff and pastoral teams
Requirements
7. GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths
8. Experience working with children or young people (school-based preferred)
9. Knowledge of SEN and amitment to inclusive education
10. Strongmunication and interpersonal skills
11. Familiarity with Microsoft Office; training provided for SIMS and Class Charts
