The finance manager is responsible for managing all financial aspects of the business including budgeting, cash flow management, cost control, and financial reporting while ensuring compliance and supporting growth. The Finance Manager provides actionable insights to optimize both product-based and service-based revenue streams and improve operational efficiency. Whilst heading up the accounting team and supporting them with the day-to-day activities within the business, the finance manager will report directly to the finance and operations Director. The finance manager will be part of the senior management team, and is required to establish and maintain strong positive working relationships with all levels of management within the business, driving towards the execution of the critical strategic goals of the business. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans aligned with manufacturing and service operations. Monitor and analyse product costs, margins, and overheads for manufacturing activities. Track and report service revenue performance, utilization rates, and profitability. Maintain accurate financial records, prepare monthly/quarterly reports, and support year-end audits. Oversee cash flow, working capital, and funding needs to ensure business sustainability. Implement internal controls and compliance with local financial regulations. Partner with operations and service teams to improve pricing, cost efficiency, and profitability. Evaluate capital expenditure and investment opportunities. Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors. Team Oversight & Collaboration Supervise, mentor and develop finance staff. Collaborate with operations, procurement, sales, and HR teams to align financial goals with business activities. Train non-finance staff in budget adherence and cost awareness.
