This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled fitter to contribute to high-quality projects within a well-established environment. The Role As an Assembly Fitter, you will play a key part in the production process, ensuring that units are built, tested, and prepared to the highest standards. Responsibilities include: Reading and working from detailed engineering drawings. Assembling, disassembling, rigging and de-rigging units. Conducting pressure testing on components and completing documentation. Producing dimensional and strip inspection reports. Safely using air-powered and electrical tools. Painting and preparing units for despatch. Accurately booking jobs through the ERP system. Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment in line with 5S practices. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve Right First Time (RFT) and On Time in Full (OTIF) delivery. What You'll Need A recognised qualification in a mechanical discipline. Minimum of 4 years' experience in a manufacturing environment utilising fitting skills. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and quality plans. Confident in using measuring and inspection equipment. Effective communication and problem-solving skills. Time-served apprenticeship and/or experience with rotating assemblies (desirable).
