Description
Do you want to help shape the next generation of Apple products? This team designs, tests and verifies the Metal graphics API for features built into the next generation of Apple-Designed GPUs. You will apply your knowledge of computer graphics design and implement new Metal graphics API features and will have the opportunity to collaborate with industry specialists across Apple to design future generations of the Metal API, shading language, tools, and Apple Silicon graphics processors.
Minimum Qualifications
* Experience with graphics programming and at least one modern graphics API (Metal, DirectX12, Vulkan or console APIs)
* Understanding of GPU pipeline and modern GPU programming techniques
* Proficient in C/C++
* Good communication skills and ability to work independently and across the teams
Preferred Qualifications
* Knowledge of the macOS technologies (Objective-C, Swift, Xcode GPU tools etc.)
* Games or realtime graphics industry experience
* Experience with HW raytracing APIs and techniques
