About the Role
Phi Partners is supporting a Tier-1 European investment bank with global leadership in many of its businesses. It is part of a larger group, a financial institution with solid foundations and a proven ability to adapt to change.

The bank’s trading application is one of the main tools used by CIB traders to visualize, compute and monitor the risks of their positions. Used worldwide by structured products, warrants, flow and rate’s desks, each desk has its own specialist (or commando) team. These specialists teams are located on the trading floor within the most renowned market places: London, Paris, Hong‑Kong and New York. The Risk & PnL applications are developed in Java by a dedicated team of developers based in London. It is linked to a wide panels of other applications including a Pricer, Market Data bases, Real Time Data Feed. The main stakeholders will be traders, quants, structurers and other IT teams making it stimulating in terms of hands‑on work but also fast‑paced liaison.
Responsibilities
* Monitoring the traders’ books (solving pricing issues, ensuring that market data or position are correct)
* Implementing new functionalities for the desk
* Acting as the link between the trader and the rest of the IT / research chain
* Providing the trading with efficient and adapted tools
* Ensuring that Greeks in the trading books are correct
* Foreseeing IT evolution of the existing tools (new models, IT changes)
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will come from a top engineering school. This is an entry level position for a fresh graduate with 0‑1 years of experience.
Required Skills
* Excellent programming skills (Java, C++, C#)
* Strong technical & problem solving skills
* Good knowledge of Financial Instruments, Greeks etc
* Highly motivated to work in a competitive environment
