Job Title: Lecturer in Engineering
Location: Wisbech
Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: £31,904 – £40,233 per annum
We are seeking an inspiring and knowledgeable Lecturer in Engineering to join our expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual who is committed to delivering high‑quality teaching and supporting students to achieve their full potential.
The successful candidate will bring a broad range of engineering skills and industry experience, using their expertise to create engaging, practical and relevant learning experiences across the curriculum. They will play a key role in developing students’ skills, knowledge and confidence, preparing them for successful careers in the engineering sector.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high‑quality teaching across the engineering curriculum
* Develop and implement engaging, practical learning experiences
* Assess and support students’ progress and confidence
* Cooperate with colleagues to enhance the learning environment
* Participate in curriculum development and improvement activities
Qualifications and Experience
* Level 5 teaching qualification or equivalent
* Relevant engineering industry experience
* Experience in teaching at further education level
* A strong commitment to inclusive teaching and student development
