What You'll Do: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, low-latency Java applications for mission-critical trading systems. Work on optimising throughput and minimizing latency to meet the demands of real-time financial markets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions that handle large volumes of data with minimal delay. Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks and implement solutions that enhance system reliability. Participate in full SDLC, from technical design through to testing, deployment, and monitoring. What You'll Bring: 5 years of professional Java development experience, with a focus on performance and low-latency applications. Strong knowledge of multithreading, concurrency, and memory management in Java. Experience with low-level performance tuning and optimization in highly transactional systems. Familiarity with network programming (TCP/IP, UDP) and high-throughput messaging systems. Experience working in a high-performance environment, preferably within fintech, trading, or real-time systems. Excellent problem-solving skills, and an ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Bonus Skills: Exposure to financial markets or trading platforms.
