Westmorland and Furness Registration Service is seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to join our team. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to officiate and oversee statutory and non-statutory ceremonies, including marriages, civil partnerships, and citizenship ceremonies, ensuring all legal and procedural requirements are met.

The successful candidate will work flexibly as part of a team, travelling to venues across Westmorland and Furness, guiding and supporting couples at major milestones in their lives. No two couples or ceremonies are the same, making each day varied and exciting.

Who we are looking for…

We are looking for someone who is friendly and is able to quickly put people at ease. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to speak confidently in public.

Having a keen eye for detail and an accurate approach to your work, you will possess exceptional organisational skills to maintain accurate records as well as the ability to understand and apply rules and procedures.
