Fund Controller – Private Equity - £80k-£100k - London

The Role
As Fund Controller, you will take ownership of a portfolio of funds, providing oversight of fund accounting, investor reporting, and key financial processes. You will play a critical role in ensuring robust controls, supporting investment activity, and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
Oversight of quarterly and annual fund reporting, including financial statements and investor reports.
Managing relationships with third-party administrators, auditors, and other service providers.
Reviewing and monitoring capital calls, distributions, and carried interest calculations.
Supporting new fund launches and structuring activities.
Partnering with deal teams and senior management to provide fund performance insights.
Driving process improvements and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
The Candidate
We’re seeking a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with a background in fund accounting, preferably gained within private equity, real estate, or wider alternatives. You’ll have:
Solid technical accounting knowledge
Experience working with open and closed-ended funds.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
A proactive mindset with the ability to challenge and improve processes.
