Are you an experienced Building Technician looking for a role where every day brings new challenges and real impact? Our client, a respected organisation within the healthcare sector, is seeking a reliable and skilled professional to support building maintenance across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver building fabric maintenance, repairs, and refurbishment
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive works
* Work safely in hazardous areas and follow strict safety procedures
* Maintain fire doors, windows, locks, roofing, flooring, and drainage systems
* Liaise with management, contractors, and internal teams
* Use CAFM systems to update job progress and documentation
* Assist with emergency repairs as required
* Guide apprentices and junior team members
* Engage in regular technical and safety training
* Work within a shift and on‑call rota (24/7 service environment)
* Travel to additional sites as needed (full driving licence required)
About You
* Qualification in a building fabric discipline
* Knowledge of joinery, roofing, flooring, drainage, and basic locksmithing
* Strong understanding of compliance, safety, and maintenance procedures
* Confident using digital systems and completing technical reports
* Excellent communication skills
* Able to work independently and manage a varied workload
* Adaptable, proactive, and solution‑focused
* Awareness of asbestos, COSHH and legionella (essential)
Additional Requirements
* This role is within a healthcare environment. A current and valid ENHANCED DBS is required.
