You'll be supporting a public sector organisation by managing key departments and reporting progress to the SLT.
Your new role
You will be expected to lead and manage a multidisciplinary Business Support team, including direct line management of 5 full-time staff.
1. Oversee resource planning, staff development, training, and recruitment.
2. Drive continuous improvement in project management across the division.
3. Ensure robust support for property finance and technical functions.
4. Lead internal programme and project delivery, tracking KPIs and SLAs.
5. Oversee a business support budget of approximately £1 million.
6. Coordinate departmental and strategic projects, managing risks and interdependencies.
7. Resolveplex project-related issues with multiple stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
8. Experience in a senior business support management, project management, or programme management role.
9. Strong financial andmercial acumen; experience managing budgets and finance teams.
10. Proven ability to identify, track, and deliver cost savings.
11. Experience managing a multidisciplinary team with a focus on delivery and performance.
12. Skilled in reporting to project boards and presenting to senior leadership.
13. Ability to influence stakeholders and build strong working relationships.
14. Track record of deliveringplex strategic programmes and projects.
15. Knowledge of property data systems, Power BI, and reporting tools.
