We are actively looking for a Junior CAD Technician to join our Farnham or Exeter offices. As part of the CAD Group, the Junior Technician/ Apprentice will develop drawings using AutoCAD for use in planning, reports, and construction documents on Civil, Port, Maritime, and Infrastructure Engineering projects. Qualifications: A Levels in Mathematics, Essential Other desired Grades in Computing and Design Less than 2 years of related experience; required Understanding and application of CAD standards; required Good numeracy, geometry and computer skills; required Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation) Experience in Microstation and Civil 3D; (Preferred but not essential) Experience in AutoCAD; (Preferred but not Essential) All new hires will be required to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check in compliance with NIST 800-171 Working conditions: General office setting Physical requirements: Work is generally performed in an office or client office setting.
