Role: Technical Customer Support Advisor
Location: Hereford (Office Based + Local Travel)
Salary: Up to £30,000 + Benefits + Career Development
Are you ready to take your passion for people and interest in tech to the next level?
We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly respected IT services provider based in the Herefordshire area, with a loyal and growing client base across the region.
This is a customer-facing support role, ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, building relationships, and delivering outstanding service, either as a natural next step from a customer service environment, or as a shift into a more people-focused role for someone with a technical background.
What’s in it for you?
Up to £30,000 basic salary
Clear path for career development and progression
Extensive on-the-job training and mentoring
A supportive and down-to-earth team culture
Local travel with expenses paid
A role that offers variety, autonomy, and real impact
What you’ll be doing:
Providing day-to-day support to a wide range of business and residential customers
Assisting with pricing, product advice and general technical queries
Acting as the go-to contact for incoming service requests and support needs
Building great relationships with customers, both remotely and in person
Working closely with the internal team to ensure smooth delivery and client satisfaction
We’re keen to hear from you if you:
Have strong communication and customer service skills
Are proactive, friendly, and approachable, with a can-do attitude
Have an interest in IT, tech, or digital tools (technical experience is a bonus, not essential)
Are keen to develop a career in the IT sector
Hold a full UK driving licence (desirable for site visits)
Who this would suit:
Someone in a customer-facing role (e.g., retail, hospitality, front-of-house, or call centre) who’s ready to step into the tech industry
OR someone with a technical or IT background who wants to move into a more client-focused position
This is an office-based role with occasional travel to local client sites, so being based within a reasonable commute of Hereford is important.
