Responsibilities
Month End Support
* Oversee the posting of month end postings ensuring correct categorisation and resolution of discrepancies.
* Ensure accurate posting of overtime, real-time deductions, insurance and property and resolve any discrepancies.
* Production of monthly reporting including commentary
Governance
* Ensure accurate balance sheet management and regular rolling forward of financial files.
* Support the management of the duty deferment account.
* Manage and collaborate with sites to resolve any outstanding issues related to purchase orders.
Budgeting and Forecasting
* Maintain and update all cost and budget models with relevant data, working with the Finance Business Partner Team to enhance models to provide better management information.
* Responsibility for the creation and maintenance of budget and forecast reporting within deadlines.
Reporting
* Support with the preparation and reporting of national statistics as required by regulatory bodies.
* Provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting as requested by senior management or other departments.
* Support the maintenance and distribution of weekly financial reports.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
* Advanced Excel skills
* Good Microsoft office skills
* Able to build strong relationships with non- financial managers
* Part Qualified CIMA/ACCA
* Experience of producing annotated monthly management accounts
* Full Clean driving license (travel to sites will be a requirement)
