An experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer is required to join a major data centre project in Dublin, Ireland on a long-term basis (2+ years) with an established engineering client.
The successful candidate will play a key role within the project delivery team, supporting the planning, coordination, and technical oversight of mechanical installations across the project.

Role Overview
The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for supporting the delivery of mechanical packages across a large-scale data centre project. The role involves working closely with the project management team, subcontractors, and the client to ensure mechanical systems are installed safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications and programme requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Working alongside an experienced engineering team to support the planning and execution of project delivery strategies.

Attending and contributing to regular project meetings with the client and wider project team.

Understanding the stages and key milestones of the project lifecycle and supporting coordination between design, delivery, and commercial teams.

Ensuring project documentation, drawings, and technical records are maintained and administered correctly.

Providing technical oversight of subcontractors installing mechanical systems within the data centre.
*
Liaising with the client and project stakeholders to ensure installations meet required specifications and standards.

Maintaining strong knowledge and adherence to Health & Safety regulations across the site.

Supporting delivery of the mechanical works in accordance with the agreed programme.

Identifying potential technical or delivery issues and working collaboratively with stakeholders to resolve them.

Reporting progress and technical updates to the Project Manager and Project Director.
