Green Keepers Position Osborne Golf Club set in the Grounds of Osborne House in East Cowes on the Isle of Wight is looking to replace a greenkeeper who has retired. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team in the Spring of 2026 to help us maintain our beautiful grounds to the highest standards. Job Summary: Position: Greenkeeper / Assistant Greenkeeper Location: Osborne Estate East Cowes, Isle of Wight. About the Role: As a Greenkeeper, you will be responsible for a wide range of grounds maintenance tasks to ensure the playing surfaces are in pristine condition. Key Responsibilities: Mowing and strimming of tees, fairways, greens, and other areas. Turf renovation and repair. Pest, disease, and weed control. Application of fertilizers and pesticides (when qualified). Aeration and other ground maintenance tasks. General tidying and upkeep of the course and surrounding areas. What We're Looking For: Previous experience in greenkeeping or a similar outdoor maintenance role. A minimum of an NVQ Level 2 in Sports Turf Maintenance or equivalent is preferred, though we are open to those who would be willing to attain this. Knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations. PA1, PA2, and PA6 spraying qualifications are preferred. A strong work ethic, ability to work outdoors in all weather, and a "can-do" approach. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings and weekends. What We Offer: A competitive salary dependent on experience.
