Your new role As the Management Accountant, you’ll be the financial heartbeat of the operation—providing accurate reporting, insightful analysis, and proactive support to project teams and senior leadership. You’ll help the company understand the numbers behind their projects, improve profitability, and strengthen their financial processes as they continue to grow. Duties of the role include: Prepare monthly management accounts, forecasts, and variance analysis Support project managers with cost reporting, budgeting, and financial planning Monitor project performance, margins, and cash flow Maintain accurate job costing and WIP schedules Providing financial analysis as and when needed Assist with year‑end processes and external audits Drive improvements in financial controls and reporting efficiency Provide clear, actionable insights to support decision‑making across the business What you'll need to succeed The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working within a construction business. They will either be, studying towards an accounting qualification or be a fully qualified accountant.
