About this Role
The role would be for 17.25 hours per week working on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 08:45am - 3:00pm can be flexible job share, 39 weeks per year.
We are looking for a candidate who ideally:
Has experience of working in a nursery or early years setting including supporting children with a range of needs.
Has a strong understanding of child development and the EYFS framework including assessment and planning for next steps in learning and holds a Level 3 or equivalent qualification in early years childcare.
Has a good knowledge of effective early years teaching methodologies, including play-based learning
Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents/guardians, and staff members
Is patient, empathetic, and has a genuine passion for supporting young children's growth and well-being
Safeguarding Commitment
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults, and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This role requires an enhanced DBS disclosure.
Fluency in English
This role requires the ability to fulfil all spoken and written aspects of the role with confidence and fluency in English.
