Description
The Supplier Manager will be responsible for developing and nurturing Zenergi’s relationships with Utility suppliers. This will involve managing escalations from across our business, providing regular performance feedback, holding frequent meetings and owning the commercial terms under which we operate with suppliers. This role also encompasses developing new products and services with suppliers, that may benefit our mutual customers.
Primary duties
Supplier Management
* Manage supplier relationships at a senior level with our Utility suppliers.
* Attend regular review meetings and present KPIs and performance statistics.
* Manage our preferred supplier list and onboard/remove suppliers where necessary.
* Maintain supplier league tables and collate feedback from across our business.
* Monitor supplier performance and implementing improvement plans as necessary.
* Escalate issues to resolution and resolve any disputes that may arise.
* Negotiate terms such as commission payment schedules and third-party intermediary agreements.
* Keep abreast of new supplier entrants into the market.
* Work with suppliers to develop new products and services that may be advantageous for Zenergi and our customers.

* Good communication skills with the ability to speak to suppliers and internal stakeholders.
* High level of interpersonal skills to develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers.
* Strong negotiation skills enabling favourable terms to be agreed with our preferred suppliers.
* Commercial mindset and ability to think strategically and spot opportunities.
* High level of influencing skills to ensure suppliers act promptly to resolve issues.
Knowledge
Desirable
* Knowledge of the third party intermediary (TPI) market.
Experience
Essential
* Experience of working to tight deadlines and able to prioritise activity.
* Experience of working in a supplier management role.
Desirable
* Experience of working with utility suppliers (gas, power and water).
