Overview
We are seeking to appoint an experienced and passionate head of department to lead history teaching throughout the school. The successful candidate will teach years 6 to 8 and report to the Deputy Head Academic. The ability to teach another subject would be an advantage.

Responsibilities
* Lead the History department and oversee teaching of History for Years 6 to 8
Qualifications
* Minimum qualification of Qualified Teaching Status (QTS)
* At least 2 years of teaching experience in History at the secondary level
* Strong leadership skills with proven ability to lead a department effectively
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to develop engaging curriculum content for Key Stage 3 students
