This role offers genuine influence — helping to build the kitchen from the ground up, working alongside an experienced Head Chef with a strong reputation for quality cooking and well-run teams. The Role As Senior Sous Chef, you will: Support the Head Chef in leading the kitchen day-to-day Help establish systems, structure, and service standards Be hands-on in prep and service in a fresh-food environment Train, mentor, and support the junior brigade Maintain excellent organisation, food safety, and consistency Play a key role in shaping the culture and success of the relaunch About You Experience as a Sous or Senior Sous Chef in a quality pub or fresh-food kitchen Confident leader with a calm, organised approach Passion for seasonal British produce and high standards Comfortable taking responsibility and leading from the front Excited by the challenge of an opening project What’s On Offer Up to £46,000 OTE package Base salary £34,000 exceptional tronc (£10,000–£12,000 per year) 4-day working week Christmas Day off Staff discounts across the wider group Brand new kitchen and equipment Strong long-term progression opportunities
