Robert Half are delighted to be partnering with a highly regarded luxury interiors and homewares business to recruit a Head of Product.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced product professional to take ownership of a diverse and design-led product portfolio within a growing business renowned for quality, craftsmanship and exceptional customer experience.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will play a key role in shaping product strategy, developing supplier partnerships and driving commercial performance across multiple product categories. The position offers significant visibility within the organisation and the opportunity to influence future product direction as the business continues to evolve.
The Role
This is a broad and varied leadership role, combining strategic product planning, supplier management and commercial responsibility.
Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business, you will ensure product decisions are driven by customer demand, market opportunities and commercial performance, while maintaining the high standards of quality and craftsmanship the brand is known for.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Developing and implementing product strategies across a range of premium product categories
2. Identifying opportunities for new product development, range extensions and business growth
3. Using sales performance, customer feedback and market trends to inform product decisions
4. Building and managing strong relationships with UK and international suppliers, manufacturers and artisan partners
5. Negotiating commercial agreements and driving value throughout the supply chain
6. Managing product profitability, pricing strategies and margin performance
7. Working closely with finance and leadership teams on budgeting, forecasting and commercial planning
8. Leading and developing a small product team, providing guidance, coaching and support
9. Collaborating with sales, marketing and operational teams to ensure successful product launches and product availability
10. Maintaining high standards of product quality and driving continuous improvement across product processes
About You
We're looking for a commercially minded product leader who thrives in a creative, design-led environment.
You may currently be operating as a Head of Product, Senior Product Manager, Product Lead or Category Manager and be looking for an opportunity where you can take on broader ownership and have a direct influence on business performance.
You'll bring:
11. Proven experience within Product Management, Category Management or Product Leadership roles
12. Experience working within luxury homewares, interiors, furniture, lifestyle, fashion or another premium consumer sector
13. Strong supplier management and commercial negotiation experience
14. Excellent commercial awareness, including pricing, margin management and budgeting
15. Experience leading, mentoring or developing team members
16. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
17. A genuine appreciation for quality, craftsmanship and product excellence
