Based from the head office in Devizes
Due to rapid expansion our client is currently looking for a technical service manager to join their maintenance division. This is an existing opportunity to join a well-established company that is heading in the right direction, with them opening new divisions, new offices and winning contracts further afield.
This is an exciting opportunity for people in a similar role or for a supervisor/lead engineer who is looking for the next step up in their career, with lots of training and development on offer.
The chosen candidate will share the responsibility of overseeing all mechanical maintenance projects, working closely with the directors and clients to ensure needs are met. Being the front line for clients and engineer's queries, you must demonstrate strong communication skills.
Job Description
Supervising/managing a team of around 10 mechanical engineers
Liaise with other managers across other divisions to assist with service delivery
Offer technical knowledge to other engineers
Assist with engineer's queries and issues
Resolve and manage client's expectations
Ensure health and safety standards are met
Quotations and invoicing
Conducting site visits and audits
Administrative duties
Participate in regular KPI meetingsRequirements
Strong communication skills
Currently or previously held commercial gas tickets
Experience in a similar role or come from a supervising background
