This role involves delivering routine and non routine radiological monitoring in a highly regulated environment, ensuring activities are carried out safely, compliantly and in line with IRR17 and ALARP principles. Key Responsibilities - Carry out dose rate, contamination and airborne activity surveys - Perform routine and ad hoc radiological monitoring - Support contamination control, decontamination and waste clearance activities - Assist with control of Supervised and Controlled Areas - Conduct air sampling, smear sampling and bioassay collection - Carry out daily operational checks on radiation monitoring equipment - Maintain accurate monitoring records and survey reports - Support radiological incident response and emergency arrangements - Liaise with operational teams to ensure risks are understood and managed Qualifications/Experience Required - Previous experience as a Health Physics Monitor / Radiological Monitor - Experience working in a regulated environment (nuclear preferred) - Hands ...
