Reablement Supervisory Senior Support Worker
An exciting opportunity has become available to work within Care4CE Community Reablement Services. The position is for a permanent Supervisory Senior Support Worker 30 hours per week working one in three weekends. The position is based at Macclesfield Town Hall, Macclesfield.
Grade.7 start pay flat rate £31,537 [pro rata, per annum], £16.35 per hour, incremental for 5 years to £34,434 [pro rata, per annum], £17.85per hour.
Weekends are paid at time and half as are Bank Holidays. Christmas Day and Boxing Day are double pay.
Shifts comprise of a combination of days and evenings. 1 in 3 weekend working.
Mileage per mile is.
46.9p under 1000cc / or electric car
52.2p over 1000cc.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Reablement is a community based short-term service working with our integrated health partners under the Home First Agenda, in supporting hospital discharges and hospital avoidance [which comprise of Urgent Community Response/Virtual Wards], therapy exercises, low-level health tasks, with a strong focus to enable individuals, to reach a maximum level of function whilst encouraging independence, choice and control or assessing for long term care needs, working in a person-centred, holistic approach, risk assessing, completing moving and handling assessments and trained as a Trusted Assessor to order low level OT equipment.
You must have excellent organisational and time management skills to support and manage the day to day running of a fast-paced duty team, case manage individuals receiving a service, ensuring they have an evidenced based assessment, and supervise a team of frontline reablement workers to deliver safe, high-quality services. Flexibility is paramount to respond to the emergency crisis work. You would also be part of the senior team in delivering in-house training including integrated health tasks.
