Are you an experienced Registered Nurse looking to work nights only? Join our Dorset Integrated Urgent Care Service Community Night Nursing team!
As a community night nurse, you will be delivering face-to-face care to adults referred by patients, relatives/carers, or healthcare professionals.
We seek you to provide autonomous nursing care with a Healthcare Assistant, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment. You will promote independence and wellbeing for individuals or carers in the relevant setting. Experience in autonomous roles is desirable but not essential.
You will drive IUCS vehicles across Dorset, working in community, residential, or healthcare settings. You will join a multidisciplinary team of nurses, paramedics, and GPs. Opportunities for professional development and career progression are available.
This full-time role is from 20:00 to 08:00, up to 4 nights per week. Part-time applications of at least 2 nights/week or 23 hours/week are also welcome. Rota patterns can be discussed at interview. A valid UK driving license is essential.

The role involves professional responsibilities, direct patient care, supporting palliative care, and may include managerial duties within the St Leonards hub, such as telephone triage. Experience in personal development reviews for junior staff is preferred.
Ensure understanding and adherence to medical instructions, maintain equipment, and support the clinical assessment and treatment service, including visiting patients at home.
Employment requires an Enhanced DBS check, which the Trust covers. Applicants must present a valid DBS certificate if subscribed to the update service.
