Salary: £143,000 - 145,600 per year Requirements: Vast experience of security concepts and technologies, including but not limited to: Cloud & Network Security Identity and Access Management Windows and Linux Operating Systems Perimeter Security IT Risk Management with a focus on security Solid understanding of security protocols, authentication, and authorization Implementation of security solutions Third-party auditing Project management processes (desirable) Responsibilities: Be the main design authority for projects and programmes Partner closely with internal stakeholders to realize business benefits Own the creation of high-level architecture, key components, and interfaces Create solutions for ITS customers that align with technical infrastructure requirements Verify that the detailed design, interfaces, and technology align with CITO strategy Ensure best practices for security standards are followed for all of Core Renewals projects Engage colleagues in other areas of DDAT to verify that the proposed design fits existing/proposed infrastructure and address any non-conformance Manage stakeholder understanding and expectations regarding the design, confirming functionality meets business needs Direct third-party resources to develop the solution, acting as a point of clarification for complex design issues Verify that programme/project-related knowledge is shared appropriately to drive reuse of data, processes, and technology where applicable Technologies: Architect Cloud Linux Network Security Windows Support More: We are a leading public sector infrastructure organization based in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, currently seeking a Security Architect to join our team on a 2-year contract.
