Vacancy 209351 Qualified Dental Nurse (Sedation)
37 Hours per week. Permanent Post
Salary - Band 4 (£29,116 - £31,670)
Self motivated and enthusiastic qualified GDC registered dental nurses are invited to apply to join the Aberdeen City Health and Social Care Partnership Public Dental Service.
Applicants must also have a sedation qualification or be willing to complete this training as an essential prerequisite of this post.
Our dental teams are located throughout the city providing oral health care for priority and vulnerable groups, therefore willingness and ability to travel between the various city dental locations is required.
The successful applicant will be supporting the dental care provision in sedation, clinic and domiciliary type settings. In addition there may be an opportunity to engage in supporting GA and minor oral surgery services.
An ability to evidence a genuine interest in a high standard of dental care is essential.
Candidates should have knowledge of the GDC scope of practice for dental nurses and have a working familiarity with the GDC standards for the Dental Team.

37 hours full time position although part time hours may be considered.
