Legal Counsel (In-House)
Cheshire | Hybrid Working
A high-growth, international professional services group is looking to appoint a Legal Counsel to join its busy and expanding in-house legal team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer to move into (or build on) an in-house career within a dynamic, acquisitive business operating across multiple global markets.
The Role
Reporting into the General Counsel, you’ll play a key role in supporting the business across a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, including:
- Advising on commercial contracts, particularly within engineering, construction, or technical services environments
- Supporting on corporate transactions, including acquisitions, integrations, and restructures
- Providing legal guidance on international matters across various jurisdictions
- Assisting with corporate governance and compliance requirements
- Working closely with senior stakeholders to deliver pragmatic, commercially focused advice
- Contributing to the ongoing development and integration of newly acquired businesses
This is a varied and fast-paced role offering excellent exposure across a global organisation.
About You
- Qualified solicitor with circa 4+ years’ PQE
- Background in corporate and/or commercial law (private practice or in-house)
- Experience with complex contracts and/or M&A activity
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Strong communicator with a practical, business-oriented approach
- International exposure or interest would be advantageous
