Pay: £90–£105 per day (PAYE – no umbrella deductions)
Are you a Performing Arts graduate with a flair for creativity and a passion for working with young people? This Post-16 College in Waltham Forest is looking for an enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to support their thriving Performing Arts department.
The Role
This is the perfect first step into education for performing arts graduates who want to share their skills and inspire the next generation. You’ll be supporting lessons in Drama, Dance, and Music, helping students build confidence, collaborate, and shine on stage.
Day-to-day, you’ll:
* Support teaching staff in Drama, Dance, and Music sessions
* Work with small groups and individuals to boost confidence and performance skills
* Assist with rehearsals, productions, and showcases
* Provide encouragement and pastoral support for Post-16 learners
* Get involved in the creative life of the college
About You
* Degree in Drama, Dance, Music, or a related Performing Arts subject
* Experience working with young people (schools, clubs, youth groups, or workshops)
* A creative, energetic approach to supporting learning
* Great communication and teamwork skills
* Looking to gain classroom experience (ideal if considering teacher training in the future!)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
