We're looking for an experienced Workshop Manager - or a strong Workshop Controller ready to step up - to join a busy, well-established automotive workshop in Enfield. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a great salary and the chance to take real ownership of a fast-moving workshop environment.
The Role
* Overseeing daily workshop operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high standards
* Allocating work to technicians and monitoring job progress
* Supporting and motivating the workshop team to hit performance and quality targets
* Liaising with service advisors and management to keep communication clear and efficient
* Maintaining H&S standards and ensuring compliance across the site
* Getting hands-on when required - this is not a desk-only role
What We're Looking For
* Current Workshop Manager or experienced Workshop Controller looking for the next step
* Strong technical background - must have hands-on experience in the workshop
* Proven leadership skills with the ability to drive team performance
* Confident, well-organised, and able to handle a busy workload
* Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
