We are seeking proactive and adaptable Security Officers to join our team at a prestigious commercial building located just moments from St Paul’s Cathedral.
This impressive 240,219 sq. ft waterfront landmark offers a unique working environment, complete with stunning rooftop views across the London skyline.
As a Security Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for tenants, visitors, and staff. We are looking for individuals who are professional, vigilant, and capable of adapting to a dynamic, high-profile setting.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a clean and professional environment, and maintaining a high level of security. You will possess a robust background in the security sector, demonstrate proficiency in IT systems, excel in multitasking, and maintain a professional and polished demeanour and excellent personal presentation.
Position: Security Officer
Pay rate: £15.20 per hour
Shift Pattern: Days, nights and weekend coverage
Location: London, EC4V Nearest tube: St Pauls (Central Line)

Must Have:
*
o Proven work experience as a Security officer
o Excellent customer service and communication skills
o Ability to deliver succinct and clear verbal and written reports where necessary.
o Maintain a high standard of personal presentation.
o Demonstrate reliability including the ability to deliver high standards of both punctuality and attendance.
o Profound problem-solving and decision-making capabilities to analyse intricate security issues and devise effective solutions.
o IT literate- Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
Duties:

o Ensure Daily Occurrence Log (DOL) is accurately maintained during full duration of shift
o Ensure all personnel that work in SCR are adequately trained on systems in use
o Be familiar with the Fire Control Centre(SCR)activities and add isolations in place when needed
o Ensure all staff know and understand the fire evacuation policies and procedures
o Operate and monitor all SCR systems
o Ensure that the KONE e-link PC is monitored
o Ensure that the access control system is monitored
o Supervise daily security team operations, ensuring efficient task completion
o Report any issues to the duty manager
o Always conduct yourself in a professional manner
o To provide regular foot patrols within defined areas as an effective deterrent in the protection of the client’s property and assets.
o To provide a point of contact and information centre to staff and visitors.
o Respond to emergencies
o Deal with conflict in an appropriate manner if required
o Write up incidents to the standard expected by Management
o Carry out ID checks
o Be vigilant to the Health and Safety risks
o A positive attitude to dealing with people and taking on challenges
