Overview
Barclay Simpson is recruiting an experienced lawyer to join a leading financial services organization on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. The role requires 2 days a week spent in the company's Edinburgh office.
The position reports to the divisional head of legal and is focused on the authorized funds space.
Responsibilities
Spend 2 days a week in the company's Edinburgh office.
Report to the divisional head of legal.
Provide legal advice and support in the authorized funds space.
Collaborate with a small team, including one other senior lawyer.
Work closely with the FCA and related regulatory matters.
Qualifications
Minimum 10 years PQE (or more junior with relevant experience).
Strong track record of working with the FCA on authorized funds matters.
Ability to hit the ground running and deliver results promptly.
